6th Grade

Language Arts- Students will finish their persuasive essay, edit and revise, and then print their final copies for a grade.

Reading- Students will finish their last novel, “Four Perfect Pebbles.” They will answer comprehension questions about the book.

Social Studies- Students will have their final test over Module 6 on Wednesday. They were given a study guide. They will get their test back on Thursday and must complete corrections by Friday!

7th Grade

Language Arts- Students are finishing their persuasive essays. They will print their final copies and turn in for a grade.

Social Studies- We will finish Module 19, but will not take a test this unit.

8th Grade

Language Arts- Students are finishing their toasts to the class.

Social Studies- We will finish Module 7, but there will be no test over this Module.

Reading- Esperanza Figurative Language Quiz (The study guide is posted on Google Classroom. If you are absent you will take the figurative language and the chapters 7-9 quiz as soon as you return to school.) We also completed the prereading vocabulary pages for Esperanza chapters 10 and 11. I also collected the reading packets for chapters 8 and 9.

Writing- We finished grammar lesson 27 today and I collected the paper for a grade. We also worked on our research for our Sargon writing piece.

Social Studies- We completed our guided reading notes for Module 6 lesson 2.

7th Grade

Writing- We completed our graphic organizers today for our Julius Caesar writing piece.

Social Studies- We reviewed for our Module 10 test on Tuesday.

8th Grade

Writing- We completed our graphic organizer for our Bill of Rights writing piece. *Please make sure you have completed grammar lessons 29 and 30, as these were both collected for a grade.
