- Read for 20 minutes and complete your reading record. The reading record needs to be signed on Thursday night.
- Attached to the reading record is the article, Remember When America Banned Sliced Bread. Students should read and answer the questions that go along with it. I am encouraging them to look for keywords in the questions, refer back to the text, and underline where they find the answers.
- We are in our second week of book clubs. This week we are focusing on characterization and character conflict. If students do not finish their book club pages during class, they may use their book club books towards their twenty minutes of reading outside of school.
